BonjourBonjour, the proximity social network for smartphones is hiring a Ruby on Rails engineer to work in our central Paris offices.
This well funded Paris-based startup is looking for a motivated, entrepreneurially minded RoR lead developer to join a company whose ambition it is to help people socialize better. A social local and mobile revolution is under way. BonjourBonjour wants to be at the centre of it.
Ambitious product development plans ahead call for a talented developer to help take the company and its product to the next level.
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to help build the best proximity social network for smartphones.
Your ideal qualifications:
- Rails developer (>= 2 years of experience);
- Knowledge of Ruby and Rails best practices;
- Can *not* commit without updating tests base;
- You <3 RSpec & writing simple, clear and readable code;
- Experience designing beautiful RESTful APIs & data modeling;
- Experience creating dynamic web & mobile applications;
- You're following Gorby Thunderhorse.

BonjourBonjour is a proximity social network for smartphones. Initially launched in Paris, the product will be rolled out to Europe's 30 biggest cities throughout 2012. Other continents and cities are envisaged for 2013.
After having spent a year developing the product, the company is shipping its V1 on app stores (iOs, Android and BB) during June and July. With a server centric architecture, the app is built on Ruby on Rails.
